Warning: Trampoline Use Involves Inherent Risks
Participation in trampoline activities is an inherently dangerous recreational activity that can result in serious injury, paralysis, or even death. Risks include, but are not limited to:
- Head, neck, back, or spinal injuries from landing incorrectly (especially on head/neck)
- Fractures, sprains, or breaks (e.g., legs/arms from uncontrolled landings or collisions)
- Collisions with other jumpers, walls, or padding
- Injuries from flips, tricks, double bouncing, or rough play
- Aggravation of pre-existing conditions (e.g., heart, back, or neck problems)
By entering and using the facilities, you acknowledge and assume these risks.
Jump at your own risk and only within your abilities.
Who Should Not Participate Do not jump if you: - Are pregnant
- Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Have health limitations, injuries (e.g., back, neck, heart, broken bones, or casts), or recent surgery
- Weigh over the park limit (typically 300 lbs/136 kg—consult staff)
General Safety Rules - Empty pockets completely; remove jewelry, belts, keys, or sharp objects
- No food, drink, gum, or anything in your mouth while jumping
- Always stay in control of your body; land on both feet when possible
- One jumper per trampoline at a time
- No double bouncing (timing jumps to propel another higher—this can cause loss of control)
- No running, racing, pushing, tackling, wrestling, or rough play
- No sitting, lying, or resting on trampolines or pads (exit the court to rest)
- No landing on pads, head, neck, or stomach
- No climbing on walls, netting, or basketball rims
- Jump with similar-sized/aged people; be aware of others to avoid collisions
- Follow all staff instructions immediately
Advanced Maneuvers - Master basic jumping before attempting flips or tricks
- Flips, somersaults, and advanced tricks are dangerous—perform only if skilled, at your own risk
- No double flips or gains (forward-moving back flips)
- No tricks over pads or into unsafe areas.
We prioritize safety with trained monitors, regular inspections, and padded equipment. However, no measures eliminate all risks. Parents/guardians must supervise children and ensure rules are followed.
Thank you for jumping safely at Pop in & Play ASN.
