Typical Terms and Conditions for Damages to Equipment at Pop in & Play ASN.
- Reporting Requirement — Visitors (parents/guardians or children) must immediately report any damage to equipment, whether accidental or deliberate, to staff. Failure to report may lead to additional charges or denial of responsibility.
- Liability for Damage — Parents or guardians are typically held responsible for any damage caused by their children. This includes deliberate vandalism, misuse (e.g., climbing on prohibited areas, excessive roughness), or accidental breakage. Centres may charge for repairs or replacement costs.
- Prohibited Actions Leading to Damage — Rules often ban items or behaviours that could harm equipment, such as party poppers, silly string, coloured streamers, food/drink in play areas, or shoes (socks required for hygiene and to prevent damage). Violators may be billed for staining, tears, or other permanent damage.
- Supervision Responsibility — Parents/guardians must supervise children at all times and ensure they use equipment appropriately (e.g., age-appropriate areas, no bullying or rough play). Lack of supervision leading to damage can make the adult liable.
- Right to Refuse or Remove — Staff can remove unruly families or groups if behaviour risks damage, without refund.
- Pop in & Play ASN : All damages to the property either accidental or deliberate must be reported to a member of staff.
